I just wanted to share a pic. :) I have 4 nesting boxes... of course they're all crammed in one... do I tell them they're sitting on nothing??? I have some favorelle eggs coming sometime soon, we'll see if they arrive while I still have some girls thinking they need to brood....

well day 9 here, still have/had 13 going on my last check... I candle again tomorrow, altho haven't been checking the ones under my broody that well, so fingers crossed she's doing her job ok. she's sitting tightly every time I check, so i'm hopeful... maybe this weekend i'll try and candle...

ok, just gave my broody some eggs yesterday, NERVOUS! this is her first hatch, but the poor thing has been patiently being broody it seems like forever.... gave her 3 of my own eggs that were showing veining and one of my shipped eggs, gonna check in a few days and if all are still developing...

@LisaLouHoo sorry with Elvis! good luck with the OE @Tammylr I almost have better luck with smaller LED flashlights than candlers and they are cheaper too half the time it seems. my last one burnt out so using a candler now, but planning on getting a new flashlight this weekend at walmart...
Eggs are here! woohoo!!! 15 of them! love the extras... one has a little chip in it... so we'll see, have them resting right now, so excited to get them in the bator!!! gonna wait till first candle to toss some under my broody as it's colder than all get out by us right now... hope...
@LisaLouHoo don't lose hope! i'm with Tammylr, give em till day 10. Hang in there! is nothing worse than checking and seeing nada. At least with your own eggs you can grab a few more and start again. Fingers crossed for veining in a few more days!!!
