Probably around 5 months. Out of birds I bought from Guy Roy.

One of my young cockerels I'm growing.

I sold this bird about 7 months ago when he was only around 4 months old. I saw this pic and called and said I need to borrow him for a little while. Hopefully I'll be getting him back to do some breedings.

He is almost one year old. Kraig Shafer line.

What y'all think about this one?

I toe punch out of the hatcher then wing band at around 2 weeks. I have noticed a couple of the toe punches had almost grew back in. There was only a pin hole left. Another week or two and I would have a misidentified chick.

This is how I keep my eggs seperated by pen. I built this to use in the bottom of my GQF cabinet incubator.

Here's a white rock bantam cockerel. Matt1616 gave my son a pair when we were down at his place a few weeks ago.

I usually wait a week or 2. They're so small at a day old.

I have silver, blue, and yellow ones. You can't see them once they feather out.

I use wing bands. They are only around $6 for 100. They are permanent.

They're barred rocks from Good Shepherd Poultry Ranch.

I have barred rocks from Guy Roy and Kraig Shafer. I have white rocks from Guy Roy. I have silver penciled rocks from Robert Murphy. I had some some Good Shepherd barreds, but they just have terrible tails.

All large fowl. RIR, white, barred, and silver penciled rocks.
