    Life after Marek's ???

    With a positive diagnosis of Mareks can I build a coop at say my dads and hatch all eggs over there to have chicks that won't have the virus? Then vaccinate from there? Also, I have several types of pheasant are they at risk as well?

    So if my flock tests positive could I move locations and rebuild from the former flock? I've read that the virus won't spread through the eggs. So could I disinfect the eggs and hatch them say at my dad's? Grow them from there and start over from the infected birds to none infected offspring...

    What color eggs do the lay and what is the normal egg size when they are grown.

    Could this dash of orange be of help. This is the only one out of the three that has orange anywhere on it. It's just a little right behind the bill.

    Still not sure about the flap will check tomorrow and I really wanted to have at least one female.

    A year and a half to two years Im not exactly sure. Also,I will see if I can get a better picture later. And one of them will walk up and step on my feet and circle me constantly does that help.

    One out of three of mine has an orange ring around the top of his head. Touching the bill or better yet between the bill and the features is that a sex characteristic and if so what sex is it?
