    Hello! Chicks are about 4 weeks old, but I have one out of the 10 that have a little pimple that has scabbed over. She’s acting normal, eating, pooping. Should I be concerned? Should I apply anything on it?

    Chicks are about 4 weeks old now and are at the point where they can reach their own vent. Does this mean they’re good to clean their own bums or should I still be checking them for pasty butt? They’ve been good for the past few weeks, and I’ve just been trying to be attentive.

    Hmm. That’s be great. Though when she was younger and even now, she was much more yellow than pictures of other production red chicks.

    Yeah, it’s a meal maker. I totally overlooked that I opted for this and was (pleasantly)surprised when there was a weird yellow one in the bunch.

    Sweet! I’m happy with any. She’s the most social and friendly of the birds. And if she turns out to produce a higher yield, even better! (Now... let’s hope she is a she :))
