Hardware Cloth—what size and gauge
Same for me. Actually got the 1/5” first & it is super thin - better for snake fencing on perimeter fence to Help keep snakes out of my backyard & away from our dogs & rodent fencing in the garden - just wish I’d only bought one roll of the 1:4” 😂but I’ll find a use eventually- Kymbers_crew

eco-friendly sustainable bedding alternatives?
I use wood pellets (horse pelleted bedding or pellet stove pellets) in the coop & On a 45 degree Angled board to guide it down to the pellets at the base & then scrape board for the stuck stuff (need to replace with easier cleanable surface) but pellets absorb moisture really well & then I just...- Kymbers_crew

Let's Talk Nice About Our Roosters!
Raised Cosmo with love & hand fed him & groomed him & braced his tiny leg & did strength exercises on him (he had spradle leg when hatched & always had a gimpy leg) but he got around the run & into the coop at night & when it rained. I used to bathe him occasionally to assist keeping him clean...- Kymbers_crew

Devastated... Lost 7 of 13 chicks last night.
It happens to the best of us sometimes - I let my broody sit on some eggs & sadly she squashed the chick that was half hatched - but she still tried to protect it as I pulled it from under her so it wasn’t intended but I felt badly it wasn’t in the incubator... but she tried & I tried & next...- Kymbers_crew

Hi! I agree normally except they dogs on the other side preventing predators & my chickens have that enclosing the entire side of my house including the top to keep my cats safe from predators & from my dogs too, as my dogs Are predators & have taken down a skunk lol- Kymbers_crew
