    What is the difference between the Seven dust and the spray? I would think the spray would be easier to use.

    My little guy passed away last night. He did have a little pasted butt when he first arrived 3 days ago but I gave them yogurt and he seemed fine. It has been really hot here so maybe it got over heated. I am watching the rest closely.

    my 5 day old chick wont open it's eyes and its gullet seems puffy like air is in it. I am afraid it might be dying. I spoon fed it water but I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions??

    The parafin sounds like a really good idea. Where do you get it and how warm do you heat it up? I don't want to burn my girls legs.

    Keeping Chickens Free Range

    Our Guineas lay their eggs in the open in high weeds. I was very worried about it but they did hatch some each time and the mommies stayed on them even through hail storms. We provide lots of areas for them to lay in but they don't seem to like those.

    Cross Mating

    Some of my roosters keep trying to mate my kittens and the other day our male Muscovy tried to mate one of the male chickens. Is this 'normal' behavior or are my birds a little on the weird side? We have many female chickens and a female duck.

    My daddy guinea killed the 5 baby guineas

    We put the male out of the pen and the female hatched one more keet. She is very protective of it and only lets me in the pen to feed and water. The male is having a fit running around the pen, but mommy and baby are doing good so far.
