That one is actually 12 weeks old so maybe because he/she is older looks like comb is more pronounced? There was another one same age that was CLEARLY a boy (much more red at 3-4 weeks, chest bumping, etc) so I was thinking this one was a pullet. I'll keep an eye on it tho. Thx much!!
That fourth picture looks like 2 cockerels, maybe all 3 but can't tell for sure as the picture of the head is blurred. The barring looks light though so I'm guessing you have 3 cockerels.
I have (3) 3 month old Barred Rock (bantam) cockerels from Dick Horstman (I hatched the eggs) that I can not keep. They have been vaccinated against Mareks. They have not started crowing yet but I expect they will soon. Asking $20 ea or $50 for the group. These would make a super special bird...

Maybe I'm crazy here but I think really the only thing that matters is that they have a place to get under that is warm, similar to a mother hen's body heat, no matter what the brooder temp is. My chicks have been hatched indoors under the Brinsea EcoGlow with room temps in the low 60's and I...
Mine sometimes do that in the first few days when they're still laying on any remaining unhatched eggs. It's almost like she's saying "no, you need to wait here with me for a little bit until all the others have hatched then we can all go out into the world together". After that, she's quite...
I do not measure temps in brooder. I use a Brinsea EcoGlow and the chicks move in and out from under that as needed. The first few days they are mostly under and only come out for brief moments to eat and drink but after that they spend a lot more time running around and then go under it at night.
