And this thing is chasing me trying to attack and then jumping up and coming at me with its claws! Are polish hard to sex...

    BCM rooster?? 11weeks

Someone from this bunch keeps trying to crow… I haven’t caught who it is but have heard it from my window about 3 times now. I’m thinking this one could be the only one it could be. Legs are about 3 times thicker than the rest and possibly some saddle feathers coming in. Although I would think...

Maybe it helps stop the spread of infection? 🤷🏼‍♀️ But yes I always have to separate the weak and sick otherwise they get picked on in a major way. I’m assuming...

Help please... chick still not out of cracked shell.

Update: (My eggs were under a broody hen not in an incubator) So after waiting all day for the chick to make more progress it seemed like it got halfway around egg breaking it open that morning and by night time hadn’t done anything more. The feathers that were popping out of the shell were dry...

Update: So after waiting all day for the chick to make more progress it seemed like it got halfway around egg breaking it open that morning and by night time hadn’t done anything more. The feathers that were popping out of the shell were dry and fluffy and the chick inside was still chirping...

    Does baby need help hatching??

Yay! Glad she/he made it out! I’m in the same boat with a broody hen. The others are out and this one has looked like this all day. But is moving around in there... I keep wondering if I need to do anything. Ahhh!!! The anticipation is killing me!
