My friend suggested that it's water belly and that's what it looks like based on photos I've found. Super unusual for a chick this age and nothing can be done. :(
She's running around with the others and acting normal, fighting me holding her of course. Haha The area isn't warm, just odd and bulgy and pulsing or moving when she breathes. It feels like there is something hard inside, but loose in the middle. The tummy feathers are not grown in.
This baby has had a larger than normal bottom since we got her, but now it's becoming more pronounced and sort of pulsing. She's so little, but could she be eggbound? If she is, is there anything that we could even do to help her?
