Know if what they are drinking from is the same kind of waterer they are used to. Know too that quail can overheat and may not drink enough if their water is too warm.
I just bought a quail and realized once I was home that her toes are a little curled. She is a Coturnix and just fully feathered. I think she is 3-4 weeks old. Is she too old for a little toe brace boot?
