    This chick was born last night, we had to help it out of the shell. I left it in the incubator until this morning and has splayed leg and curled toes and couldn't walk. I have hobbled it for the splay leg and band aid on both feet for the toes. It just falls over. Any suggestions?? It's away...

    OK, Thank you! Yes i do have some chick grit. I figured since they are in a pen with dirt floor (they have a heat lamp in with them) that they didnt need it but i will offer them some.

    I have some 5 week old black copper marans and today noticed poop like this? I just started letting them free range some with the other chickens, is this normal or do I need to worm them. They are on dumor 24% chick feed and have been since hatched.

    About 2-3 weeks ago i noticed one chicken was having respiratory issues and i ended up having to doctor 13 chickens with the Tylan 50 injections 2xper day for 5 days each because they all ended up with it except for the teenagers that were in the run next to the hens...a couple of the hens...
