The new chicks move into their little coop. THIS was happening in the brooder. Lol.

New peeps! Two white leghorns and two barred rocks Gracie loves peeps. She’s my peep-nanny.

We have lost a few chickens to feral dogs over the last few years. People dump unwanted animals around the area and then they roam around looking for food. It’s very frustrating.

Tell me about it!

Maybe water for them is like coffee and tea to us.

I like my tea with milk, and my coffee black. ☕️

I do this a few times a week. I do it for my dogs’ and cat’s water too.

They are all Muscovy ducks.

I didn’t know there was a Wattle Wednesday! I think Lucy has a fabulous comb and wattle combo. And Elvis is very proud of his wattles.

I tried to get some storm pictures but rain doesn’t show well with my phone camera. The chooks all barricaded themselves in their coop but Mama Ducky likes getting a shower! :celebrate (Her babies hid under the deck.)

The moon was beautiful, but I can’t get good moon pictures with my phone camera, so I didn’t even bother to try.
