I raise chickens once in awhile, and have 4 new chickens... and forget how long before they lay. Had some new ones last summer and fall but something got into the chicken run this spring and killed them and still have 2 chickens but finally figured out how the weasle something skinny was getting in .... NOW ready to raise 4 more hens.... I have been successful keeping it out 30 days chickens are still alive... so decided to get more so I have enough eggs.... through the winter again.
