Welsh Harlequin eggs from TSQ Holderreads line

So far the shipping has been okay. A few cracked eggs but I changed the way I packed so fixed the problem. Hatching, I don't know as they haven't been in the incubators long enough.

    Welsh Harlequin

The silver harleys have green heads. The gold harleys have a brownish gold head with hints of green when the light hits them right.

    Welsh Harlequin

When I ordered from Holderreads I mixed the dozen and asked for 6 of each and got 3 gold drakes, 3 gold hens, 3 silver drakes and 3 silver hens. I actually like the softness of the brown color in the golds.

    Welsh Harlequin

The following links will give you the reason that breeders use the words "critical", "endangered" in their advertisements. Some of that information is from as far back as 2008. While it's true that there are a lot more Welsh Harlequins being bred I'd say that less than 20% are being bred to...

    Welsh Harlequin Breed Club

I'm interested in forming a club also. If the members strive towards breeding for the standard. And loads of photos of all ages of ducks to guide the breeders to quality end results. I'd even pay for and create the website for the first year, then members pay for the website and I'll still...
