    Yep. chickens sometimes go crazy over blood. Other birds as well.

    Or hold up actually veterycyn spray. I think that’s what it’s called. It’s for poultry. This is the best option but the topical ointments still work.

    Regular flock raiser or layer feed could work. Just food that the little guy could have.

    Yeah an incubator should work if the temperature is around 95 degrees Fahrenheit. If he will eat then yes I would feed him chick starter food. And definitely give him water.

    He might survive but yes he will need to be separated from the mother duck and put under a heat lamp.

    That must be for survival reasons I presume. I know with chickens they Like to eat especially in the afternoon hours before night so that they can stay warm.
