Hello Maryland! Central New Yorker here that will be visiting May 16-18 for a northeast region employee association meeting. Wondering if anyone near our destination has some 4-H show quality started chicks? My Easter hatch did poor with the shipped eggs. We like Wyandotte and Orps, also had...
There was ducks, a tank with mixed bantams and Salmon Favorelles, tanks of Buff Orp pullets, australorp pullets, leghorn pullets, GLW, RIR, Cornish cross. Weekend crowd usually picks it off.

41 set, 9 hatched :/
0/7 midget white turkey
0/12 bantam partridge Wyandotte (only 9 went into bator, other 3 cracked badly in shipping; 8 out of those 9 were clear)
1/6 Isabel cuckoo orp
3/12 glw/slw (only 10 went in, 1 was rotten on arrival and 1 cracked in shipping)
5/6 backyard mix from home

Will also be bringing a young fellow chicken enthusiast, teen boy that is really into his Game Birds. Not sure if hubby and daughter will attend yet.
Also see DeRuter Co-op farm store is having a customer...
I get all my feed from the Countrymax in Cortland. Their chicks were normally pre-order only then extras sold off, but have gotten more into open chick days like TSC, just scaled back in quantity.
