    Do you still soak their feet in iodine for 10-20 minutes? I’m curious because I assume it’s a strong solution… and if you do, how often did you soak? Your post is incredibly informative and helpful! Thank you!

    Give me some ideas to improve my yard for the chickens, I have a total of 5 now. I have flagstones placed directly on top of ground. The rest is just soil, looking compacted because I hose down their droppings every day. There’s no growing grass where they roam as well. I can’t grow grass there...

    She’s holding up ok so far. Foot is still swollen, but seems to get new tissue so that’s a good sign. She’s extremely underweight so I’m tube feeding her once a day, when I can. Thank you for asking!

    Attached is the silver sulfadiazine cream 1% pamphlet adverse reactions… reading it, I feel like it’s more in line with Lapis’s condition…. Maybe this is what was causing her foot to look so terrible? Maybe she happens to be one of those rare case that she has an allergic reaction to it?
