    I’m doing a 6’x30’ run with 1/2” hardware cloth 3’ from the ground up and chicken wire the remaining 4’ I hope that’s enough to keep the ladies safe. The top is to be covered also.

    I’m in the process of building the run for my chicks now and you make me sound “cheep” (pun intended). Never thought of putting sod over wire.

    I can’t tell you to buy it but I’m in the process of building my coop and run for my chicks. I’m in about $300. and your coop is much bigger and nicer looking then mine.
