I was suspicious of 2 but hoping the opposite. Hopefully they will be quiet boys that are nice so we can keep them around. In the end we got 8 girls which was the hope.
We’ll get pictures tomorrow morning; we got these putting them to bed. For parents it was an open barnyard with 7 mixed roos and a few hundred various hens. We just bought a pack of fertilized and incubated. What breed they are isn’t overly important just curiosity.
We hatched 6 new additions and I think we got pretty lucky with 5/6 hens but would like to verify with the crowd. Breed ideas would also be appreciated but we know they are barnyard mix so it's no super important.

Our first run of Bresse chicks and I think we got pretty unlucky with 3 roos but posting the lot to make sure before we attempt to find homes elsewhere. They are around 7 weeks at this point and we are pretty confident the 3 tagged ones are roos and the last is our lone hen.
