I’ve read 1/4 tablet of human B complex. Is that not enough? Does size of the chicken matter? How long would you expect it to take to see major improvements?
Ok, so she did have sour crop. I treated it with probiotics and miconazole by mouth.
I’m giving her poultry cell 1ml/day.
I think she is stronger, but she can’t get her legs under her. She can move both legs.
If it was/is a vitamin deficiency, how long would it take to get her legs back? Am I...
Thank you for your input. I really appreciate it. Could I ask you for more advice? This is my first flock, she’s a favorite. I’ve nursed a handful of chickens back to health with coccidiosis, sour crop, injury…I’m not ready to give up yet. Also, a vet is not an option.
Snowball is...
I got the chicks from Cackle Hatchery and they had been vaccinated prior to being sent. This is my first flock and they were indoors in a brooder until they were big enough to go outside…
I did! She is doing well. It took about 2 weeks. She is back out with the other girls. She has a slight limp, but nothing major that holds her back.
3 (Other) chickens have bumblefoot. I took down some roosts that I now realize they were too high. I have supplies to make a wider ramp

She doesn’t draw them back or even flinch when I touch or move her legs. Both legs just feel warm—not hot. The one leg has a little softness at the joint (at the bad spot). The other feels completely normal.
