    It has been 40 hours since initial pip. Its beak is slightly sticking out. Is it ok to wait until tonight to intervene?

    Thanks so much for your response. I just heard it peeping for the first time. The only concerning thing I just saw is a small (dime sized) very faint round bruise on the opposite side of the egg from where it internally pipped. Is that a concern? Thanks

    Mine externally pipped about 24 hours ago but has a small round bruise now on the opposite side of the egg. Should I intervene? I've heard some peeping. Egg isn't moving though. Thanks
