    Ok..thanks...second person to suggest rest. I think it may be something she was born with...it does seem to have gotten worse over time. I'll add vitamins and another suggestion was to add Turmeric to her water

    ugh...that sounds like torture for her w/ no insurance it would heal anything...not even sure it's an injury...she loves the yard and being w/ her flock...and yes....she loves her roost...that may be the problem but I don't have the heart to restrict her

    I think it's always been this way...she has a certain / distinct way of running w/ a bit of a hop...I just decided to look into it further one day and noticed the difference in her two joints and feet

    brooding hen, for how long?

    Unusual for my hen to brood but I think the harassment from the other hen keeps her in the nest box. Is it safe to give her fertilized eggs to sit on w/ hopes of them hatching? She's been brooding for 2 + weeks now... Thanks!
