I have a family of otters in my lake, which is well stocked with fish. They actually follow the ducks under the water and grab them by the neck when they stop and do a barrel roll with them. They have taken out one of my pekins and one of my muskovi ducks. They ate them alive :(. No more lake...
Only 1 egg in total daily. So I can't tell which it's coming from. Would it be okay if I separate them 1 at a time overnight and band the ones that are laying? I have a large brooder for babies and injured birds.
I'm not quite sure if i'll find the answers i'm looking for, but I figured this was the absolute best place to start looking.
