I couldn't find a whole lot on that and when I did it seemed like it was different colors. I'll keep looking. I know she would like the eggs from the welsummer but I'm not sure if they are heavy enough layers...
Does anyone want to help me plan a fun cross???
I want to hatch some good egg layers for a friend and she already has red/buff birds and wants a different color for this year. I wouldn't mind getting her some fun egg colors if it wouldn't reduce egg production too much. Also possible is just...
The lady I got the eggs from didn't seem familiar with what she had and I didn't get to see all her ducks so I'm just curious. I've had 5 hatch so far. Other than the two pictured the bills are mostly dark but not really black. I have a couple with jet black feet, maybe one yellow and a couple...

I contacted one place that may...
It wasn't meant to be. It dies before I decided what to do.. Still had quite a bit of yolk left and could have never pipped from the position it was in. :( maybe the other one will make it that pipped out the side.
I've been studying the threads on assisted hatching and I just really need some insight. My other 5 chicks from my home eggs hatched last night. 1 of my shipped eggs pipped on the wrong end I think this morning and hatched this afternoon. Another one pipped and hatched almost normal. A third...
