    I was going to say bird of prey - Hawk or Owl - they like to get the brain. Falcons go for the body. I've unfortunately had all 3 kinds...it's never easy!

    I got these girls from a local hatchery and I’m not convinced they are BR’s. They are black & yellow…see pics below for reference of them with some RIR & Buffs. They are now 1.5 months old. Guesses??

    Hey friends! I got some Barred Rock chicks from a local farm. They were pure black when I got them with no stripe on their head and now they are 1.5 months old and they are now black & tan…are they really Barred Rocks?? See pics below of them with some RIR & Buffs.
