A visual - adult chickens in Producer’s Pride Sentinel Coop

That's a great visual! That size of coop is advertised to hold 6, and that is only realistic for bantams or chicks. It would serve as a nice little nursery pen, or isolation. I currently have a wounded roo living in my green house ...he has a make shift cage that I cover and lock him into at...

    Peafowl identification

Only the 4, but I remember reading somewhere that they mate for life. I figured they were best kept in pairs? I've heard local stories about them leaving if they didn't have a mate, or is that just males? Mine won't free range, too many coyotes here.

ducks poop / flies / fly predators

This is my first time also to have multiple ducks (13) and boy, the flies were outrageous! Hi y'all! We just bought a farm in southern Indiana this summer and somehow have acquired 62 birds! I have raised chickens and parrots my whole life, but now ducks, guineas, geese, turkeys and peàfowl are in my flock. I look forward to hearing stories from all!

Also, the cameo I have zero to compare to. I honestly feel like they are all boys but the way the kiss each other and divide 2&2 makes me feel like I might have pairs :/

    Peafowl identification

Thanks for the add to group! I used to raise parrots but due to allergies I've moved to outdoor birds (I have 62 altogether, ducks, geese, chickens turkeys and now peafowl). I've raised these since chicks and now they are all between 4 & 6 months but I am still clueless on gender. I've read...
