I try but I don't know how to do it. It always somehow ends up on marketplace. Then the ad gets flagged. But thanks. I will try to find someone to walk me through it.
very interesting thread. Let's keep it going. I want to breed these darling birds, want to follow what others are saying. Thx. for all the replies. ChocolateMouse, you are a brainiac!
Thank you. Your reply has been incredibly informative. Still I would like to breed Ameraucanas in spite of it all!!! I love the beard, muff, and ear tufts. No worries, I will sell them as Easter Eggers until I get a manageable flock. Maybe I should go to more shows!

I would like to thank you all for your sincere efforts in helping me. If I seemed cross, I apologize. I learned A LOT. Apparently whatever I bought will breed true to blue egg color and that is what I care about and what others who are buying care about. 15 years ago I noticed that people...
With all due respect, I mean that, if hatcheries are selling/labeling chicks that they are not then it seems they would fold, or at least get fined for selling something that is not what they say. I have to believe that they are held accountable to some local, state, or federal laws. All...
I bought these as day old chicks. I know pullets are more. When I go to sell these as fresh laying Ameraucanas I get $45 a piece for them. I contacted the hatchery and they absolutely insist that they are Ameraucanas so I don't know what to believe.
I did contact the hatchery and they insist that they are Ameraucanas. Here is the link to what they sold me. https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/americanas.html. I appreciate all the help. Yes I am happy that they are happy and healthy, but I bought them to sell them when they came of age...
