    Hello! I enjoyed this article very much. I have never composted before, and was wondering what to do with the litter from the coop and run. I am very new at this venture and do not have the chicks yet. How do you keep the smell down from the compost piles? Thank you for any input.

    Great Article! But now I have a silly newby question. What do you do with the old sand after cleaning coop and run. That's a lot of sand.

    yes it was quite an unexpected journey to say the least. I had a mighty small bucket list and one item was to have feathered friends.
