    Unfortunately the chick passed. We made it as comfortable as possible. I know that sounds crazy. I don’t know if there was anything else wrong with it but we had a full week of 100 degree weather and high heat indexes.

    Leg/foot Injury?

    I noticed one of my hens was limping and wouldn’t put full weight on her left foot. I inspected her and couldn’t find obvious signs of injury. It looks and feels the same as the other foot. I have video. Any suggestions?

    That’s just it, she’s never shown any dominance toward the other hens. She gets along well with them when he’s separated from the flock. And he never gets close enough to attack her. She’s fast and always gets away and he gives up and goes back to the rest of the flock.
