Raleigh/durham NC white silkie rooster needs new home

I have a less than 1 yr old beautiful white silkie rooster that needs a new home. He has recently started fighting with my other silkie rooster. He is a sweet gentle rooster with a unobtrusive mellow crow. We need him gone by Thursday. We would be willing to meet you somewhere in Raleigh/Durham...

    Hello From Sodak

Nice looking coop! As a southerner that considers 40 degrees cold, I am always impressed by those with chickens in true cold weather! Welcome and good luck!

    Hi! New to BYC

You mentioned having a bunny, when I first got chickens I was also given a bunny and advised to keep them together. This didn't work our for me. The bunny and chickens fought and the chickens ate the rabbit food and vice versa. I also read that rabbit urine in the coop is bad for the chickens...

I have silkies and love them! The are sweet and docile. They lay adorable little cream colored eggs. The only problem (but this could be good if you are interested in hatching eggs) is they go broody every few months. But for me, that is a price I'm willing to pay for such cute sweet birds!
