    This might be one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen on here. Not the candling or even the embryo photos, but the actual experiment itself. I have done a lot of investigating of my failed eggs/ lost embryos that my hens hatch, but never would’ve thought to do this. Fair play!

    Yes we have one vet that sees chickens. I’m going to take her in on Monday if I don’t see any improvement with the drops.

    Not exactly sure what’s going on here. Started giving antibacterial eyedrops yesterday after we noticed this. Her eye was definitely not like this a few days ago. Thoughts?

    Poll for those who have had chicken deaths

    Raccoons and Mareks have been my top killers. A family of raccoons got 11 pullets and 4 ducklings. I got my furbearers permit and got myself 4 raccoons. Mareks has also claimed many lives, even my vaccinated girls. It’s been really tough.
