    They do, but not as much as they should. They get out with supervision because we had foxes in April....one is still laying, the others arent quite old enough yet. Our good layers were taken by the foxes in April

    Hen or rooster?

    Unfortunately, I have concluded we have 3 of 7 roosters...so 2 will have to go. As of now, he will stay since he is not acting as aggressive as the other 2. Thanks for the input!!

    Hen or rooster?

    Hi, New to having backyard chickens...got these chicks at the end of September and heard a potential "cockadoodledoo" yesterday afternoon as I approached the coop. Is this a rooster or hen? None have began laying yet either. Thanks!!!
