    Yes she's only been laying for 2 or so weeks. Thank you so much! I will keep checking her to be sure but I feel better now.

    Newbie here. Just got this egg with blood on the shell. I checked the barred rock that was hanging out in the coop when the egg was collected and she does have some blood around her vent, but from looking at pictures online I don't think she has a prolapse. There's no one here right now to help...
