    Awesome. I was planning on getting chickens before my aunt found these and couldn’t decide what breed I wanted. Now I have a nice mix lol. Also really excited about the one hen possibly being a silkie. I love those.

    My aunt had them for a while before we got them. When she found them they were babies and couldn’t even really walk yet. She posted about them and asked around and no one claimed them, they were also in pretty poor condition.

    We’ve been debating whether or not that’s a roo. It fits in with the other chickens well and makes a little burrow in the ground to sleep like the rest of them. There’s also no sign of spurs (i’m not sure when those grow in though). Unfortunately, if it is a roo we have to find it another home...

    unfortunately not, I threw it out without thinking. Looks just like how it did in the photo, somehow it was barely in her foot but in there enough to stay stuck until pulled out.

    the blood seemed to dry pretty quick but I will definitely invest in some of that for future use.

    it fell out, it’s not a worm but she is bleeding a tiny bit. Very weird.
