    How many chicks?

The most we've ever had is 21. Most if them lived I don't remember exactly how many. It was also on a bantam and she was a great mother.

    Clipping wings before introduction?

To introduce birds, leave them close together in separate pens for a few hours or days pending on size of the pen and then put them in at night on the roost with the rest of your hens and check on them early the next morning

    What does one do?

Opening the air spots about a quarter of the way on each will allow more air to flow through the incubator.
