Hi I put about 15 eggs under my broody hen on June 1st 2014 my hen is a black astrolorp cross.Im pretty sure this is her first hatch but I'm not certain because we got her from a family member a few weeks ago she is about a year old I think and has been sitting for 3 or 4 days so far so good :D...

I just left it she seems to be ok now thanks so much for the advice tho:)

I have an iza brown chicken that appears to have some air bubble looking thing on her neck.i know for sure that it is not the crop.she is about a year old and I just recently got her from a family member.if anyone knows what this might be or how to treat it please reply!:)

I just got a buff Orpington from a friend but she is not tamed at all! Does anyone know any tips or tricks to help tame her? P.s she is about a year old hen
