    Found a sandpapery egg empty shell in the hen house this morning.

    It's likely somebody, maybe Pretty Lady, coming back into lay. I wouldn't worry too much, so long as she doesn't continue to lay eggs like that for too long.

    The second "hole" is most likely just the belly button, and it should heal up soon. I would suggest not to mess with the scab. As for the leg thing I'm really not sure. Hope I was some help.

    Hen with sharp, twisted wing feather?

    Yesterday night I noticed that my oldest hen has a strange feather on her wing. She's at least 2 years old probably older. It pokes into her side when she's walking/standing so she spends most of her time laying on her side. I'm not sure how long she's had it, considering for the past few days...
