Thanks for your reply 😂 I have no chance of getting photos on their own or posed, they are wild and aren’t standing calm when I’m around, they are jumping, pecking, flapping or doing a chicken pile. They were sexed female at day old, then when I picked them up off a third party at 6 weeks she...
6-About 11+ weeks New Hampshire x australorp. I can’t find many pics as reference to see the similarities. Just wondering if anyone experienced with them can see any cockerels.(not the best pictures sorry)
Thanks
Update: orange one and black white one were roosters and went back to previous owners.
I still have two Brahmax cockerels they haven’t crowed but obviously boys.
White one: pretty sure is a pullet very bossy but has rounded feathers- still hasn’t layed.
Still haven’t got an egg off any of them...
Yeah he has crowed a couple of the mornings and started getting gold neck and brown feathers. He was the only one I couldn’t be blind to the fact that I had roosters. But I don’t want too make multiple trips back to the lady who sold him, so it was a who else question…. I was suspicious on all...
The ladies I got them from both had a bunch of chickens I thought they would have a better idea of sex’s, they said they were pullets. the lady that I got the little black Brahma x said may be males as it’s hard to tell at that age. The bigger ones have changed so much in last week, the white...
This was my concern that I had more rooster than pullets 😑 I didn’t want a rooster yet. Is there anything I can look for so I don’t end up in with more cockerels. I had a gut feeling on the white one, but his waddles and comb are still pink. with the little black/white and grey/white how could...
This was my second guess for a cockerel. Just based on coloring, but I’ve never had these breeds, so I couldn’t be sure. I had random chickens I took in, when I was young but I didn’t care about what sex they were.
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me the sex of these chickens I brought 18 week old pullets, black and white one has crowed twice and has gold and brown feathers coming in. Im pretty sure the brown one is also a roo. I also got a lil one in with the 18 week olds, so had to go get him two buddy’s they...
