    that would make sense. i dont plan on letting her out of my sight when i do introduce them. ive found little bald spots on her crest already and she doesnt look to have mites so i think she was plucked by birds she was housed with before and i dint want to cause her more trauma that shes already...

    i have an orpington, what i think is an olive egger, 2 BLR wyandottes, and 4 black australorps. i had an easter egger that i had to rehome after he was found to be a rooster. so no crested yet, is that gonna be a problem? and oh good to know! i thought it was only 2 weeks so im glad i seen this lol

    i actually think her beard is gone because the old owner would trim her feathers back. they said she was alone cause shed get picked on by her other birds. but im gonna try to incorporate her into the flock soon, idk if she was just putting her in the coop while everyone was awake or at night...
