Yeah. I see stuff with adult chickens, but nothing on babies. I wish I had control over the conditions in the woods where the nest was (we think) but we didn't. Just hate death though I know it comes with life.
It is so sad. We lost about 6 that showed no signs of anything. I even started Vit. E and Polyvi just in case to help. Only 2 had holes in their stomach. I wish there was something that we could do to make sure no other chicks have them.
They are in a oval metal stock pond from Tractor Supply with shavings, water with electrolytes and probiotics, chick starter (that's all we had at the time) and a Brinsca Eco Glow 20 to keep them warm.
