Do they stick up out of the leaves on the ground in wooded area's or do you have to move the leaves around, and once you see one will you know that it's a morel.
I found some last year, but am new to it, and not really sure how to look for them, and where to look. Everyone says elm trees, but I don't know what an elm tree looks like....I would love to find some of those.
It started late Feb I noticed my little buff cochin sitting in the nest box all flattened out. So, I thought to myself she can't be broody already. Then the next day I go out I notice Polly sitting in the nest box with my buff cochin, so I decided to test the water and stick my hand in there...
Congrats Becca! They are adorable. I have watched for 3 days, and had to go to work. I made my DH check so he called me a work and gave me the good news. Also, he said he got teary eyed watching it.
I am afraid of the dark. I refuse to go outside by myself, or even walk in the house when the lights are off. I have to many phobia's...lol. Any flying bugs, wasp, bee's, spider's, snake's dead or alive. My main one though is the dark. I have no clue why either. I won't look in my review...

Calendar says it is only Feb 19. The vernal equinox is March 21. Been that way since the Big Bang. Hang in there. We're makin' progress, but winter is far from over.

When ours cross breed, that come out a grayish color....I know nothing of genetics either, but that is what color ours come out, and their bills and feet are different colors orange/black mixed together.
