Air cell size and humidity d25

Sounds good. I’m definitely in no rush to assist these kiddos.

Air cell size and humidity d25

Good morning! The Buff egg with the bruise from yesterday externally pipped through its bruise. Not sure if I should worry. It has a much larger air cell than the others, which is so confusing since they’re all in the same incubator.

The calls have internally pipped and I added a safety hole. THINGS ARE HAPPENING!! WISH US LUCK!

Do you know what this orange spot is? Could it be a bruise? Do I need to worry?

Air cell size and humidity d25

Ok. Since posting 2 buff eggs started moving again. I candled the third like you recommended and it was just dark. Both call eggs just look v dark, one has what looks like a small amount of fluid that moves with gravity. Not terribly optimistic about those two. Attached a photo of the call egg...

That’s what I keep telling myself! I do see a little movement occasionally, but it’s difficult.

Air cell size and humidity d25

I’m having a terrible time figuring out what to do with the humidity for my 3buff duck eggs and 2 call eggs. Struggling to tell if the air cells are too big or too small so I figured I’d just post here and ask what to do. 3 buff eggs are in the same incubator, 2 call eggs are in the same...

Putting call and buff duck eggs together

I don’t like to go to any gym! Easy enough, I’ll keep things how they are. Thank you!

    Duck life

Hi! I’m in Delaware USA and new to the world of poultry. My dad had chickens and quail when I was younger, but this is the first time experiencing ducks! I currently have 2 call and 3 buff duck eggs in the incubator, due to hatch any day now (currently day 24)! 🤞🏼 I love to garden and spend...

Putting call and buff duck eggs together

Hi! I’ve been incubating my buff(3) and call eggs(4) separately because initially they wouldn’t all fit in one, and also I thought it might be a good idea since call ducks usually hatch early and I didn’t want to bother the buff eggs if I need to assist with the call eggs. All eggs were shipped...
