    I can keep him ... I'm hesitant to have a rooster as I have a 4 yo grandson and don't want an aggressive rooster around ... I know not all roosters turn aggressive ... I don't want to risk it .

    Yea ...I have talked to the guys at the store about returning him to rehome They keep telling me to wait until he crows to know for sure ... I'm a first time chicken owner but I have been convinced for 2 weeks ... ok back he goes today !!!

    9 week old Dominiques ....I am convinced this one is a rooster .... any thoughts ???

    Hi, I'm just starting with chickens, I have 3, 7 week old Dominiques. I'm pretty sure I have a rooster in the 3. Comb is pink and much more developed than the other 2, they are just barely turning pink. Not sure if it means anything, today I brought my 3 week Golden Wyandottes chicks out...

    I am new to raising chickens, I bought my first chicks a few weeks ago. They are Dominiques, they were supposed to be all female, but I'm relatively certain one is male ... Any guesses out there ? The one in question grew long tail feathers early which are now drooping downwards, the other 2...
