    Helped hatching and worried

Ok I’m probably paranoid since I’m always worried. Newest concern, today fluffy seems to be wheezing on and off. I’m thinking the noise is nose whistling because once fluffy is done eating/drinking no more wheezing. I just placed a deep water container in so fluffy can get whole beak/ head in...

    Helped hatching and worried

Ok guys. My little pecked off its belly button scab it’s bleed a little bit. Should I be worried? What should I do? Fluffy seems ok and not in pain, just worried about infection. Right now fluffy has wood bedding should I put paper towel down until it’s dried up?

    Helped hatching and worried

Fluffy (my students named him today). will eventually go to my friends farm (where he/she will be a pet not food). He takes them every time I do it. I put a blanket with him to snuggle and I am looking for a stuffed animal or dog toy he can snuggle with. He seems very happy.

    Helped hatching and worried

So I went to get the baby! He/ she is doing great. He/she has a little hard spot on tummy. I’m assuming that’s normal and from the yolk sac. He/she has eaten and drank some and pooped a few times!

I ended up helping my duckling after 48 hours since external pip. It was first time ever helping and know that most believe not to help but I panicked. I created a post but no one responded. He was breathing and chirping, didn’t see blood or yolk sac. He just seemed tired. Can you please look at...

    Helped hatching and worried

Good morning, I have been hatching ducklings in the classroom for years now. Today I came in and my duckling didn’t make a lot of progress hatching after 48 hrs of external piping. I helped (first time ever and panicked). Does he look ok? He was breathing fine, chirping, I didn’t see yolk sac...
