    Good breed for beginner

    I am looking to start a small flock 5-7 in the Spring and was wondering which breed would be best. I am looking for egg layers primarily, and a meat eater occasionally.     Buying an incubator locally

    Thanks for the reply. Did you buy the still air model or the one with the fan? I am definitly getting an egg turner, I have heard good things about those. I'm just not sure which model I want, fan or no fan. -Links
