If only this one survives I'll be so happy. He was furiously trying to saw through the membrane that was far too tough. The other pip is clearly shrink wrapped, but he's twittering. I've peeled back some of the membrane but he was bleeding so I'm gonna leave him for the next few hours at least...
This is going to sound awful but I know they won't go to waste. Too many raptor birds of Prey around here. Scared this guy off the Quails day coup yesterday. Its not a good photo but he was magnificent. Sleek silver grey with a black face and yellow eyes that just glowed.

I found a website called troubleshooting the hatch. It was so helpful. I'm on my phone it will take a minute for me to come back with the link. This is awful I can hear mine chirping and all and they're all stuck in the eggs.
