    Thank you for your help. I will assume that the brown one is a male and the white one is female then. Now to decide what to do with them. I *thought* that we had taken all but one of the roosters to the butcher. UGG.

    Thanks for your replies. I just got them from the local feed and seed as "straight run" chicks. Seems like out of 20, 17 of them were boys.

    So the breed is called "Easter Egger"? How can you tell if these are male/famale?
