The brooder is raised about 3 feet off the ground. My husband made it out of wood and half way up the sides and top is surrounded by chicken wire...just don't want to freeze them. Wasn't sure if I needed to add a heat lamp too...the brooder is good size

How long do you keeps the chicks out if you spray with permethrin
