    This little guy was around 12 - 13 weeks when this was taken. That said, it is crazy hard to tell! My hen seems to have pointy saddle feathers to me so I can’t judge on that. Anyway, that is my 2 cents from someone who knows nothing but has a few silkies. 😃

    Hi, What a pretty little bird 😍. At that age my silkie roos had bigger combs and little streamers. I can really only make my best guess about sexing them by looking at the BACK of the head. I am going to look for pics at the same age….

    Pullet or cockerel?? 1 month old silver pencilled bantam Wyandotte chick

    Hi. Here is a picture of my gold laced Wyandotte pullet at the same age (first pic) - cute tiny wattles. In the next pic she was a few weeks older - wattles a bit bigger and redder. Your girl is beautiful! My Wyandotte is sweet, smart (one of the smartest I have) and beautiful. I love Polish too!

    Hi. I found some more pix of Pumpkin at around 13 weeks (her face is not starting to redden yet). I have some 8 day old chicks (supposed to be female) and one has no tail feathers and I keep trying to figure out if he is a boy. So hard to wait to truly know.
