    NO the yoke is inside the egg like a normal egg. The membrane that normally has the calcium shell on it is what is covering these two joined eggs.

    Here is the unique egg I found in one of our next boxes. It is a membrane covered. The hen that layed it is under a year old. She has free access to calcium and a well balanced diet.

    Alternative to Scratch feed???

    We have used Black Sunflower Seeds in the winter time as a scratch feed. They love it!
